Artist's Description of Two Sets
Purchase this painting
A painting that attempts to illustrate the illusionist properties of representational art by showing three levels of perception; a straight representational set-up of a still-life, a still-life set-up that appears to be floating only because the table was not painted in, and a beetle seemingly crawling across the flat plane of the canvas.
